RUC: Event Management -Planning an

Time: 4:15pm - 7pm PDT
This class will cover the ins and outs
of event planning. This is where we will learn about choosing the
right date choosing the right act, or choosing the right venue for
the goal you're trying to accomplish. Learning to set up an artist
rotation to make booking easier.
Class will be held in voice and
students will be expected to show up 45 minutes prior to an event so
class can start on time.

Strum Diesel
Strum has been playing in second life
for awhile now and you won't find a more high energy, positive show
out there. He plays mostly originals on both acoustic guitar and
keyboard. He puts his life on display in music and reminds us all
that we are only human. Bring a friend or two. This is a show you do
not want to miss.

Shannon Oherlihy
Shannon Oherlihy is a
singer/songwriter/ guitar player based in Stratford, CT. She has
been singing since she was a little girl, when she sang into her
hairbrush along with Carly Simon records. When she was nine, she got
her first guitar, and started writing her own songs at the age of
ten. Inspired by the music of John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Joan
Baez, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and Bob Dylan

Frogg Marlowe & Jaycatt
Their regular Friday night performances
have been running for six years now, currently at Jaycatt’s venue
‘AmphibiCatt Gardens’. The shows are extremely popular, and as
well as having a large loyal fan base, they entertain and delight the
live music lovers of SecondLife, playing on average 6 live shows a
week. Frogg and Jaycatt’s fame in SL has caught the attention of
the music industry. They have been interviewed by Rolling Stone
Magazine and MTV. Frogg was a vocal jazz minor at college, while
Jay studied piano for 14 years, and together as singer/songwriters
they have produced a comprehensive range of heartfelt and memorable
melodies and poetically lyrical songs. Musical influences include
Mannheim Steamroller, Simon and Garfunkle, The Beatles, Pink Floyd,
and Frank Zappa.
